Important Notes for Hard Drive Usage and RAID Configuration

When using a new hard drive, make sure to format and partition it before it can be recognized by your computer. Always back up your data for safety. Our model is not a RAID version, so setting up RAID requires software RAID, supported by tools in your system. Mac OS users can use the RAID Assistant in Disk Utility. Note that RAID software is compatible only with RAID version enclosures.
